About Me

I TURN YOUR EXPERTISE INTO AUTHORITY

Signals of Authority exists because I’ve seen how value gets lost when it isn’t expressed clearly.

I’ve spent 20+ years in digital marketing, working inside growing businesses where communication wasn’t optional – it had to work. I co-founded Silverbullet, helped build it from nothing to acquisition, and later through to IPO.

Some Reasons To Work Together
01.I’ve built authority from the inside

I’m not an external commentator. I’ve spent my career inside businesses where marketing had to work commercially – not just look good. I understand the pressures of growth, scale, and alignment first-hand.

02.I understand how authority fragments

As teams grow, messages diverge. Sales, marketing, leadership and delivery all describe value differently. I’ve seen how costly that fragmentation is – and how powerful alignment becomes when it’s fixed.

03.I’m allergic to fluff

No trend-chasing. No performative thought leadership. Just clear, honest work that reflects how good your firm actually is and makes that obvious to the people you want to attract.

04.I care deeply about clarity

After a stroke temporarily affected my ability to communicate, I gained a renewed respect for language and meaning. Clarity isn’t a “nice to have” – it’s foundational to trust and authority.

01
Alignment before amplification

Publishing more doesn’t create authority if the message isn’t aligned. Authority starts when everyone in the business understands and communicates the same value, consistently.

02
Recognition beats output

Authority isn’t about how much you say – it’s about being recognised for the right thing. Signals of Authority focuses on repetition, coherence, and reinforcement over volume.

03
Compounding, not resetting

Every fragmented message resets understanding. Aligned signals compound trust over time. The goal isn’t momentary attention, but durable recognition.

About Signals of Authority
I’ve spent over 20 years in digital marketing, working inside growing businesses where clarity mattered.

I co-founded Silverbullet and helped scale it from zero through acquisition and IPO, seeing how easily authority fragments as teams and markets expand.

Authority isn’t built by saying more - it’s about being understood. Alignment is what makes that possible.

I believe most firms don’t lack expertise — they lack alignment.

When language is clear and signals are consistent, authority becomes inevitable.

Not louder. Not faster. Just unmistakable.
